I have found my new favorite "just for me"
I went tanning the other night and fell in love with the tanning bed! I go to Hawiian Tan in Hugo and they have the best beds! I tanned in the Maui Wowi (rm #5) and had a super relaxing time. This bed was like a space ship! It's ergonomically designed so your legs are slighty raised on this clear acrylic platform. It has two different fans, one for body and one for face, air conditioning in the body fan, and.......AROMATHERAPY mist! Two choices, relax or vitalize...I chose relax....and every so often a mist is sprayed all over you that smells wonderful. It was so nice. The only sad thing....it was only 8 minutes long. Next time I'm bumping up to 10 minutes.
Oh the things that make us happy.
Hello Friends!
I have taken on an incredible challenge. On August 21st, I’ll be walking 60 miles over the course of three days, camping out at night with thousands of other women and men taking this journey with me.
It’s for an event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day, which benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. Every advancement in breast cancer research, treatment, education and prevention in the last 25 years has been touched by a Komen for the Cure grant. They are working hard to build a future without breast cancer, and I plan on raising $2,300to help bring us closer to that goal.
Please consider making a donation. Even spare change will help. also ask your employer if they will double your donation with a matching gift.
I am doing this for the women I've known over the years who have had to battle this horrible cancer. Some have won and some have lost. I am doing this for anyone who know's someone who has gone through this battle. I am doing this for all women who have survived or lost their battle. I am doing this for my future, my childrens future, and the future of all women so that one day a 3-day walk is no longer needed. I am doing this for Grandma Pat, Liz, Betsy, Jody, Jennifer, and Margaret.
Without a cure, one in eight women in the U.S. will continue to be diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s why I’m walking in the 3-Day. Because everyone deserves a lifetime.
To make a donation, go to http://www.the3day.org/. Click on Donate Now and search for my personal fundraising page. If you would prefer to write a personal check, please make it payable to "Breast Cancer 3-Day" and mail/give to me. I would like to reach my fundraising goal by August 1st, so please don’t delay!
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Kelli
P.S. Don’t wait - donate today!
I was walking through Rosedale mall when all of a sudden I saw a two headed girl turn the corner and walk past me.
I was with a friend and I stopped and said "Did you see that too?"
She confimed it. I wasn't crazy. We were on our way out of the mall so I suddenly found myself alone in the car with QUESTIONS! How is this possible? What part of their bodies do they share? It was trully a mind pretzal!
When I got home I did some googling. It wasn't hard to pin down who I had seen. Their names are Abby and Britney.
Here is a story I think you need to see:

I am in awe of God's work. I know many people would wonder why parents allowed these girls to grow up this way, most likely thinking of the complications to come in their life...I just think it is amazing. I think their parents were brave and are blessed to have these two daughters. I think these girls are something special and I will say a special prayer for them tonight. I'm sure if asked, they would say they are blessed and happy. They certainly appear to be!
